First on stage to rock the crowd were Die Gehirne, an industrial noise project
founded by Claus Löser (guitar) and Florian Merkel (drums) in 1983 and still
active today. The single piece performance was a furious noise attack, with the
expressive female singer shouting lots of strange sounds rather than actual words.
At the end of the short show the audience was left rightfully stunned. It seems rather
impressive how easily even seasoned punks can be confused with a bit of weirdness.
